Install

Open the downloaded disk image, drag AndOfCourse to Applications, then open it from Applications. This beta requires Apple silicon and macOS 14.2 or later.

Sign in

Enter the email address invited to the beta. Enter the eight-digit code sent to that address on the same Mac that requested it. Codes expire after ten minutes. If needed, check spam or request another code after a minute.

Signing in restores your account allowance. It does not add credits or start a paid subscription. Contact the beta organizer if your account needs funding.

Set your domain and audio

Describe your field and existing knowledge. Choose meeting audio for calls and headsets, microphone for an in-person conversation, or both to include your side of a call. macOS requests the appropriate audio permission when capture starts. If permission is denied, enable it in System Settings → Privacy & Security, reopen AndOfCourse, and start listening again.

Stay in control

Start listening begins capture. Stop ends capture and keeps prepared answers available in memory. After sleep or an interruption, reconnect and resume explicitly; speech during the gap is not recovered. For Simple mode, choose a time range and Prepare range. Deeper and the prepared simplifications open without another model request.

Account and updates

Settings lists your signed-in devices and lets you remove their access. If a Mac is lost, sign in on another Mac and select “Recover account and sign out other devices.” This ends active sessions on those devices. Device access lasts 30 days before sign-in is required again.

Use AndOfCourse → Check for Updates to check manually after ending a conversation. Updates are signed and verified. Installing an update restarts the app; finish reviewing or copying any session content first.
